Will You Help Donka?
Donka, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing no-cost computer training and job readiness services to
persons with physical and visual disabilities. Through computers and assistive technology, our clients become
more self-sufficient and independent members of the community.
The demand for Donka services continues to grow. As with many not-for-profits, we are hoping not to have to decrease our services due to lack of funding. While the poor economy continues to impact Donka, we are remaining true to our mission to help persons with disabilities enrich their lives using assistive technology and a computer. In fact, despite the downturn, we are making our program even better by forging new partnerships and friendships that create opportunities to help our students access our training and successfully transition their skills to their daily lives.
All that we accomplished during the past year would not have been possible without the support of the community. With funding down and interest in our services up, Donka truly depends on our loyal donors to keep our program operational and available at no-cost to our students. As we head into the new fiscal year–and another tough financial forecast–we thank you for your past contributions and trust you will continue to support Donka this year.
